In this work the methods of analysis and models of the direct and inverse elastic waves scattering problems for the local objects located in a uniform background are presented. The work is based on the concept of using of the sounding field frequencies spectrum. Methods of distance determination of plane cracks dimensions, geometrical and physical - mechanical parameters of a thin-walled tunnel plane inclusions, geometrical parameters of volumetric closed obstacles, by means of ultrasonic scattered fields are offered. The obtained results have theoretical and practical importance for creation of new methods and development of existing techniques of nondestructive evaluation of the particular structures.
